Based on the success of the 2020 National Online Forensics College and Junior Championship Tournaments, National Online Forensics was founded to promote a competitive online national championship for all forensics students - from College to Elementary. These expertly run synchronous online tournaments afford more students the opportunity to showcase their speech and debate skills given the low cost and low entry barriers. Robert Cannon
A National Forensics Association (NFA) Hall of Fame member, Robert has been involved in the forensics community for 30 years. He is a collegiate national champion in Informative Speaking, president of the Southern California Junior Forensics League (SCJFL), and a board member of California Middle School Forensics (CMSF). Robert is director of forensics at Wilshire Academy.
Danny Cantrell
Danny lives in La Mirada, CA and brings 28 years of experience in speech and debate. His favorite events are debate and extemporaneous speaking. Danny is a Professor and Director of Debate at Mt. San Antonio College and the creator of ForensicsTournament.net, the platform that supports tournaments nationwide. One of his favorite memories is from the Point Loma Debate Tournament, where he and his partner (now his wife) Jennifer, won an award in parliamentary debate. Outside of forensics, Danny enjoys family life with his four kids.
Anika Lee
Based in Seattle, WA, Anika L. brings 12 years of experience in speech and debate. Her favorite events are SPAR and Informative Speaking. Outside of NOF, Anika works at an art gallery, where she channels her creativity and love of communication into the visual arts. One of her favorite memories from her forensics journey is getting locked out of a hotel room all night with her debate partner in middle school — a story that still makes her laugh today. Beyond forensics, Anika once spent a month living on a fruit farm in Japan, an experience she describes as unforgettable.
Alexandra Smith
Based in Vancouver, Canada, Alexandra Smith brings nine years of experience in speech and debate. Her favorite events are Congressional Debate and International Extemporaneous Speaking. Alexandra is currently completing her Master of Business Management at the University of British Columbia and plans to relocate to Belgium in 2026. One of her favorite memories from competition is serving as Presiding Officer and winning the NSDA House at Nationals in 2021. Outside of forensics, Alexandra once walked the 1,000-kilometer Camino de Santiago in Spain, a journey she describes as both challenging and transformative.

Travis Cornett
Based in New York, NY, Travis Cornett has been involved in speech and debate since middle school, first as a competitor and later as a coach. His favorite events are Duo Interpretation and Congressional Debate, which he now enjoys judging. Travis began his coaching career in Texas at Sinton High School, where he led two duet teams to qualify for the State Tournament—an achievement the program hadn’t reached in over 20 years. He holds a BFA in Theatre Education from Texas State University and currently teaches at The Gateway School in Manhattan, a K–8 school for children with dyslexia and learning differences. One of his favorite speech and debate memories is winning Duet Improv with Alex Night at the Harlingen South TFA Tournament. A devoted tennis fan, Travis hopes to attend all four Grand Slam tournaments one day.
