Course FAQ
What is the Judge Certification Course?
The course trains participants in judging procedures for online speech and debate tournaments. Upon completion, participants receive a certificate, and certified judges are prioritized for NOF tournaments.
Can I judge if I am not certified?
Yes. You may still judge without certification if you are a volunteer, but certified judges are given priority when assignments are made.
Do I need to pay to review the course content?
No. The basic certification course is free. You can revisit modules and quizzes as often as you like at no additional cost.
How long is the certification valid for?
The certification is good for one season. You only need to take the course once a year.
